What an absolutely fabulous resource! We added this to our History collection this year and, while we have not used the full curriculum, the text is just a wonderful addition to what we were learning about Roman history. Introducing the children to characters throughout the history we are learning has made it fun and engaging, it feels as though we’ve taken a journey through time and met some of the famous players. It is written in a way that is engaging for the readers/listeners and not dry and boring like so many texts about history can be. All of my kids look forward to when we read through this text and often they will request it if I leave it sit for too long. I haven’t used the full curriculum, but the text on it’s own has been fantastic.
