What is Symmetry in Nature?

Reading this book, children will become aware of the balance of things in nature. They will delight at amazing photographs of butterflies, beetles, leaves and flowers, fruit, sea creatures, and children.

This book will show how a person with arms outstretched has fivefold symmetry like a sea star, and if you drew a circle around his or her body in that position, the navel would be at its centre.
