Katy, a brave and untiring tractor, who pushes a bulldozer in the summer and a snowplow in the winter, makes it possible for the townspeople to do their jobs.
In this enduring winter favorite from the Caldecott Medal winner Burton, Katy the snowplow finally gets her chance to shine when a blizzard blankets the city and everyone is relying on Katy to help dig out. This new paperback is perfect for gift giving. Children love sharing Katy’s shining moment of glory and will inevitably admire her “chug, chug, chug” endurance."

How can one book be so widely appreciated and so contested? Millions revere it and many ridicule it, but the Bible is often not allowed to speak for itself. Key Bible Concepts explores and clarifies the central terms of the Christian gospel. Gooding and Lennox provide succinct explanations of the basic vocabulary of Christian thought to unlock the Bible's meaning and its significance for today.

We've had so many of you contact us about the Kids' Makers Market. We had the best time at the 2023 market and hoped to host it again, however, the space we used last year was unavailable.
It's a tad last minute but we've devised a plan. We are going to host a "mini-market" in the store...whoot whoot!
This is a market for homeschoolers (grades k-12) to sell their creations. We have room to spread ten 6-foot folding tables throughout the store and it's first come, first served. Purchase your spot asap and then follow up with an email to Adrianne Curwen at adrianne@classicaleducationbooks.ca to let us know you are coming and what you will be selling. Please make sure you want to participate as refunds will not be given.
Date:
Saturday, December 14, 2024
Time:
Staff will be on-site at 10am for vendors to begin setting up and the market will begin at 11am and run until 3pm.
Please arrive no later than 10:30am to set up, and plan to remain at your table until 3pm and be packed up by 3:30pm.
Location:
Classical Education Books
#104 – 37451 Kilgard Rd.
Abbotsford, BC
Cost:
$10 for one area that will fit a 6-foot folding table (vendors must supply their own table). Please bring a table, tablecloth, chairs, display items, decor, and cash. Half tables will not be sold but feel free to split a table with another family.
We would love this to be as much of a family affair as possible but keep in mind that space is limited so having your children work in shifts might work best.
Email Adrianne with any questions or to be placed on the waiting list.
