Have you ever used a Weather Tree with your children? We’ve created this one for you to use alongside your stack of weather books.
Decide what you are going to track using the blank lines in the lower-left corner then assign a colour to each variable using the leaves. Everyday, colour a leaf using the appropriate colour.
-track the weather or temperature, choosing to move from top to bottom, left to right, or in a random pattern
-number the leaves with the dates if you like; there are 31
-there is plenty of room to use 2-3 colours on one leaf for those cloudy, rainy, windy days
-if you decide to track the temperature, we suggest using a temperature range for each colour
-makes for an impressive year-long visual project when you complete 1 per month
