How to Use Number Sentence Cards
Before a lesson begins, pull out an applicable card or two. You might select cards of the number currently being worked with in the arithmetic lesson or use cards for particular numbers that need additional practice.
If you unexpectedly need to attend to something else for a few minutes, give your child the selected cards so she may continue working on her own without interruption. She should complete the number sentences, using manipulatives if needed, and write the answers on her personal whiteboard.

Have you ever noticed how blue Earth looks in photographs taken from space? This is because of our oceans. Earth is the only planet in our solar system with water on its surface—more than 200 quadrillion tons of water—and it’s constantly in motion. You don’t have to live near the ocean to know its power. Changes in temperature far out in the sea can cause a drought thousands of miles away. The oceans affect us all.
Award-winning science writer Seymour Simon brings you an in-depth exploration of the oceans.
Summer is the perfect time for an ocean unit and this package will give you everything you need! Please note that the price changes depending on the books you choose.
